Baroness went above my expectations. I really have no complaints about them. Perfect song selection, great sound, absolutely flawless.

And Converge.....well, let's just say they played "Jane Doe." That's should say it all.

loved their setlist, but not as energetic as their last iowa city show on superbowl sunday. that really was the best time i've ever seen them, and they went as far as to say it was one of their favorite shows ever.

but yeah -- jane doe, conduit, homewrecker...i've got no complaints. baroness slayed! hope they come back and realize how just as many folks were there to see them as converge. i really think they come across better live than on record.

iowa city is definitely the place to see converge. the sokal kinda blows, but I guess if you don't mind being pummeled by retarded kids stage diving every .05 seconds it's okay.

baroness is sooooooooooooooo good.

Omaha show ruled. I got punched in the head by a fat hardcore dancer in Iowa City. But I did get to hang with Jacob Banon after the omaha show. I basically have to tell everyone. I requested Saddest Day and then we talked about DragonBallZ.

but yeah, iowa city ruled. could have done without genghis tron. baroness was epic, i was looking forward to seeing them for a long time. red chord is always fun, and converge pretty much played a greatest hits set.
