It'll be June 19th. That thurs/fri is gonna be busy, HTH is playing a late show with a rockabilly band that night, then we're playing with the Koffin Kats the next night, and now maybe this.

I missed them the last time they played Des Moines in 87, it would be the day after I get back from FLA, so yeah I'd be there. I just wonder how many of the younger people know who they are and just how pig fucking cool it would be to see them.

I'm working on a venue, and yes, if it happens, it'll be June 19th. Keep in mind that this is still pending.

I think it was 87. My first show ever. They had a neon light that flashed "just say maybe" and tesco vee kept thumping people on the head with a giant rubber dong.

So while I'm a bit scarred from the experience, I'd still pay to check it out again.

They wouldn't budge on their absolutely ridiculous guarantee, so no Meatmen.

3000 dollars, plus a percentage of the total door bag ( I was scared to even ask what percent, like 3 grand ain't enough). 3 hotel rooms, booze, food (not pizza), and a bunch of other random shit that noone really needs. They're more of a pain in the ass than OTEP was.

Yeah you would have needed like 300 people to break even. I'm sure it would have been 90% after cost. You may have been able to take a small promoter's fee but would have in the long run been fucked.

I have to say it would have been a cool show. I had heard a while back that they were doing reunion shows around Detroit but I just can't see that much interest outside of the major cities.
