Scenester Credentials - new releases / updates / news / bull

Post by showeringashes » Mon Apr 07, 2008 11:35 pm

Just imagine the HTML code working, cause i'm lazy

<a href="http://www.scenecred.com">Scenester Credentials</a>

2008 is turning into a pretty damn busy year for Scenester Credentials. We currently have 2 records and 1 cd at their respective pressing plants, with a 3 record to be sent out very soon! We also have a handful of 2008 samplers left (man these things went fast) and they are available for FREE with any purchase from our webstore. The 2008 sampler features tracks from all current or upcoming label releases and was/is limited to 200 copies. Also, a SHIT LOAD of SceneCred bands are on tour or playing shows this spring/summer. Go see them play and show them some love. So, without further ado, here is a quick update of what to expect in the next couple of months:

<a href="http://www.myspace.com/hordemetal">The Horde</a>
<B>SC015 The Horde - From Empire to Ashes CD</B>
After much delay the art work, mixing, and mastering have been finalized for this most epic of metal records. The Hordes brand of metal conjures up memories of parking lot mayhem mixed with epic D&D type warrior vs monster battles. This is real metal played by real men of metal. Look for this CD to be out in May 2008.

<a href="http://www.myspace.com/mauul">Mauul</a>
<B>SC016 Aseethe / Mauul - navitas est deus split 12"</B>
Limited to 100 copies, this split proves that the idea of a solo artist can no longer be defined as someone with only a guitar slung over their shoulder and some sad ass folk songs. One side is a heavy and crushing dive into the vast ocean of DOOM. While the flip side is minimalist noise creations at its finest. The record plays almost as a collaboration. The initial test pressings have been rejected, pushing the release date back from April 2008 to May 2008. This release will feature screened covers and inserts (by Clean Milk Design). Oh yeah, did we mention its limited to 100 copies.

<a href="http://www.myspace.com/indefence">In Defence</a>
<B>SC017 Black Market Fetus / In Defence - split 7"</B>
RELEASE SHOW: TUESDAY APRIL 15 @ Vaudville Mews in Des Moines. Thats right, this record is one week from release. Pressed on 300 red vinyl and 300 black vinyl copies and with 100 cloth cover tour editions for the BMF/ID upcoming tour. Black Market Fetus plays fast paced thrashed out punk with extreme heavy metal riffage and they may be Iowa's best and longest running band! In Defence are some straight up posi-thrash dudes from Minneapolis. Another killer midwest hardcore split. We love this record so much it makes us wanna call our bros (and sisters) up for an evening of tacos and carnage.

<a href="http://www.myspace.com/thetanks">The Tanks</a>
<B>SC019 The Tanks - Keep Breaking Down CD</B> (recorded / mastered, art work being worked on, multi-media CD?, mutli-platinum CD!)

<B>MAILORDER</B>
A bunch of new records, cds, and imports in at the webstore. Also, we've changed our webstore around a little. It is now organized into three categories: USA orders, Canada/Mexico orders, World/International orders. All prices reflect what part of the world you live in and shipping is just flat across the board. This should make ordering a little easier for everyone, both us and you. Check it out:
