WOVEN HAND:
"David Eugene Edwards, enigmatic frontman and visionary for 16 Horsepower, began recording under the Woven Hand moniker while Horsepower was on hiatus in 2001. (The name ""Woven Hand"" refers to hands clasped in prayer; Edwards' Christianity -- he was raised the son of a traveling Nazarene preacher -- is a consistent, driving theme in his music.) Fans of 16HP will instantly recognize the same forces at work in Woven Hand -- e.g., incendiary gospel, hallowed folk and mordant tones infused with a high, dark theatricality worthy of Nick Cave."
i got into Woven hand several years ago because of the 16 Horsepower connect and I've come to like this even more than 16hp.
i know there's another show at the same time, but if'n you get your fill early, come to this later on.
soooo good.
sooooo creepy.
Can't wait.
i need a shower, a shave and maybe a song with a melody

jason where the hell were you!?
superb show.
eric kennedy opened. for those of you who haven't seen him, he's the curly haired dude from Squidboy. very good. hadn't seen him play in a while. did an excellent Hot Snakes cover.
D-Lam. killed it. i want to see him on more shows. dude's got a great style and i can't wait to get my hands on a recording.
Woven Hand. kinda creeped me out. it was really intense watching them play. it was what church should be like. i want the drummers kit soooo bad.
