Oh yes, "KNIG" as they used to call that station. When it was KUCB I remember they had a pretty good reggae program on during the day. Most of the time it was just gospel and music that was what you would expect to hear at a black dentist's office as well as public pleas to "stop black on black crime".

But yeah, I've heard some racist material there that if a white-orientated radio station would've played, everyone would be outside the station foaming at the mouth chanting "Kill the white racists".

What'd you hear?

at around midnight, it was a show with some lady screaming about how there is more white people on welfare (duh, blacks are only 15% of the population) and all this inequality ranting. Then something about black women being portrayed as voluptous and huge sex fiends, I don't remember what else, but I found it entertaining. This morning it was the black version of Bob and Tom.

I believe black women have the highest obesity rates out of all groups. "Voluptous" is a nice term for it.

Anyways, LOL @ black people. I'd be curious to listen to this show sometime. Do they take call ins?

is it really that hard to think of people as individuals and not as a skin color? you know my feelings on all this so i won't belabor the issue. i just find it troubling that folks with racist tendencies can't understand that, in this case, a black radio station doesn't speak for all black people--just as you don't speak for all white people(thank christ!).
