Bullshit. "Unplugged" was brilliant, as was some of their other stuff. While not being 100% up my alley and pretty much being a band where the fans ruin it, Nirvana had some kick-ass music. "Unplugged" will rightfully go down as one of the best rock albums ever.

What were all the covers from "Unplugged"? All I know is the Meat Puppets one. I think the first time I heard that I thought they said "black folks" instead of "bad folks".

I've never heard Rob's accoustic material, but I can only imagine what's like.

I saw that video when it debuted at the Live Aid show in 1984. I love both the Stones and David Bowie, but this video is funny as hell. It was cool to act gay in the 80's. The gayer you acted, the more pussy you got back then.

in fact, i have a vhs tape that i taped off mtv unplugged when it used to be on every sunday night of all those bands unplugged performances, i used to watch it constantly. brings me way back. in fact, all these posts about nirvana lately make me miss being a pre-teen, everything was so cool back then. those were the times that it was "uncool" to have ripped up old jeans that now cost about $80 to buy brand new pre-ripped from american eagle. i believe the term they used to call me was "skerve". i once remember my 7th grade pe teacher at stilwell asking me one time "do you enjoy dressing like a homeless person?" i told him to bite me.

my only gripe about when nirvana unplugged aired on mtv is every time they always left out the song "oh me" which was my favorite song on the album. they have unplugged's on vh1 classics on sunday nights sometimes. i want to buy the nirvana unplugged dvd, does anyone have this?
