The release show was always listed a $7 dollar show with a mix tape included with entry. Last night the door guy let minors in for $4 because that was what they were expecting to pay based on flyer and internet promo leading up to the show just as all 21+ were expecting to pay $7 based on the same info.

The only change was Initially we were worried the music might carry past 9pm forcing the minors to be kicked out before the show was over thus the cheaper price. You gotta be cautious with that curfew, I had been warned by the venue and luckily we were able to keep all the music within 5-9 so no one ended up missing out at all.

Anywaaays,I still think its kind of funny that adults would complain about kids getting in a few dollars cheaper- the show is over, get over it.

I didnt hear any complaints about this at the show, just positive stuff really. Truly I had a great night, kudos to everyone that came out--all the bands played kick ass sets including D.Lamb-I'll get video and pics up soonish!

great show.

great dudes.

awesome bum that looked like George Carlin.

D-Lam wins - best singer/songwriter in the DMI.

His dad is still the bees knees.

Oh P! - always impressed, "Winter Fur" gives me warm fuzzies live.

Vampire Hands - glad more people could see them, one of the best bands in the Midwest, sweet Circle Jerks cover/encore.

Taciturn - tech as fuck, makes my head hurt trying to figure out timings and watching them play. three of the finest musicians in iowa.

mix tape looks sweet, sounds great.

good to see so many come out.

Ladd wanted me to beat up the weird dude with the sunglasses who ended up being an old friend of mine wearing a wig.

Brizzi hates Inland Empire, which is waaaaay better than Mulholland Drive.

I now know what "GOTTA SEE SIGNAL" means, and it makes me very happy.

how about UTM 5 next weekend?

i was listening on the TAPE, so that might have something to do with it, but i just think the vocals were mixed in too low. it's still killer, though!

what do you record on?

Yeah, you are probably right. I recorded it on a Tascam 4-track tape recorder. I'm actually pretty pleased with it for the $100 bucks I spent on it.
