"5 cases in Anoka so far this year"---is that considered an epidemic? I havn't seen any cases of TB in Iowa lately.

This is pretty much what I've gathered from working at a hospital. To keep people safe employees get free testings for TB every six months just to be safe.joseph wrote:IOWA has 43 this year. I don't understand your point. If we assume there will be another 200 cases this year, and there's already 5 in Anoka, that's 2.5% of all cases limited to ONE small Podunk town in Minnesota. How does that not sound odd to you?

Re: Would you like TB with that?
it doesnt sound odd to me because Anoka is not a podunk town. Anoka is a suburb of the twin cities and if i remember right they have quite a propotionally large healthcare industry, compared with the rest of the twin cities.Varg wrote:joseph wrote:you quoted the last part of the sentence but not the first? did you even read it?Varg wrote:http://www.myfoxtwincities.com/myfox/pa ... geId=1.1.1
