Haha, I thought this was going to be about Dubays. If so, I would've ducked out after X's "Los Angeles" album.

Speaking of Dubays, what nights are you working there, Davo?

i work Tuesday through saturday from 10pm to 2am

we started doing live music on monday by the way. So far it has been this hippie guy and jazz trio. The idea is to keep it low volume. So we are open to local bands leaving the amps and a most of thief drum set at home and playing. If anyone is interested contact me.

As far as A goes, their best stuff was with xoom in the band and maybe More Fun In the New World but I have to admit I like it all or at least most of it.

I was supposed to see X with Rollins Band a couple of summers ago at Sokol, but my ride bailed out on me even though I bought him a ticket. There's a possibility I might be able to go to this one because it's the last day of my spring break.

I would go see X if they played around here, but honestly I never really dug anything after "Los Angeles". I have a couple of their albums laying around that will honestly probably never see the light of day on my record player again. I tried, I can't get into it.

2 hours is nothing to drive if you really like a band.

The Briggs are boring. I saw them play here and there were a lot of skinheads at their show, so they're probably a racist band or at least harbor some of those tendancies or cater to them somehow.

I never could get into them.

At least with The Briggs there's a Cocksparrer cover at the end, albeit a very played out one.

They'd be worth seeing if they weren't in Omaha. Fuck that place.

If anyone is driving out for the StreetDogs (IE Ryan, Zack Cosmo etc.), hit me up and I'll go if there's room, I guess. Fuck Omaha.

So anyway, since everything said after my last post here is COMPLETELY worthless, i reiterate:

Well, live anyway. They have a lot more energy and their music is harder and faster. They don't have that "sing-along" feel that The Tossers do but it is still good shit.
