Warped Tour

Post by DaVo » Tue Feb 12, 2008 9:02 pm

Sounds like a good tour this year but then again it always seems like the same 3 or 4 bands. Closest Dates are Minneapolis on 7/29 and KC on 8/15

Here's the highlights
Circle Jerks
Bad Religion
Flogging Molly
Toasters

But Agent Orange, Fishbone and countless others are not playing the midwest shows.

Anyone even thinking of going?

Yeah when are those fuckers going to tour. Their last tour was what with the Weirdos in the early 90s?

Here's the highlights
Circle Jerks - boring, play shortened versions of all the songs, gay, Keith Morris spends more time whining about political bs than singing, gayer
Bad Religion- good band, however very boring live
Flogging Molly - gay
Toasters - they suck, plus they play at the mews every 4 months.

Not worth it in my book.

I'd rather see NOFX again than any of this crap.

The Real Mckenzies and The Vandals are playing though, that could be pretty cool.

First off, no I'm not recieving any money. Second nothing as pure and true as Woody could ever be trendy. I've been listening to him since I was 5 or 6 sitting on my grandfather's knee way back in the 70s. It maybe that impression that drove me into punk in the first place. The bottom line is it's hard to be trendy when you have floated in and out of style as many times as I have.

Glad i haven't wasted my money on this lame event since 1999... Even by then it had gotten astronomically gayer then it was two years before that....

The only bands mentioned I've have any real desire to see would be Bad Religion and Fishbone (although I've seen them half a dozen times). I love the Circle Jerks, but no thanks, I'll pass on that one.

really, i don't know what the issue everyone has with the circle jerks. i saw em in 02 in chicago and it was fucking awesome. played forever, and with little or any political talk. all kieth really talked about was doing coke.
