i much enjoy the eightysixed over those two bands. and the mutts are just always the mutts, long set lists and sweet ass basslines. that slow sludgy chugging super dude yelling featured in lungs songs gets a little tiresome after hearing 30 bands just like that play the haunted basement every weekend. the eightysixed will be a welcome change for me from the shows that have been happening lately. i love the fast fast hardcore, but the ultra slow chugga stuff....never did understand...

Lungs is slow, but I wouldn't say they're chugga at all.

there was a band called 86d back in 1999 from iowa city. this thread made me remember them. the only thing i remember about them is the line "i loved you / you hurt me / now i wish that i'd given you herpes."
