oh sorry. the television show FUCKING SUCKS.
ive never read the comic. but being someone that loves apocolyptical anything and i also like zombie movies(or i used to) the television show is one of the most boring predicitible jerk off sessions ive ever tried to watch. blah blah
try
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54PUhMEZDp0 this show is basically the same plot. without the unneccessary zombie tie in. and its based on a book from the 70s.
so again what im saying is the walking dead tv show is a predictible boring rehash and it FUCKING SUCKS.

i enjoy both the series and book for what they are, zombie drama. i've enjoyed myself with the book way more than the series so far, probably cuz i read it in spurts and can go at my own pace. clutch rules shut up.
survivors looks fucking awesome (bbc rules), know where i can stream it online? i'm way more into apocalyptic scenarios brought on by sickness/war/society's collapse cuz they're you know, realistic. plus that black dude plays alan johnson on peepshow and he's so funny.

Red Robin and Abalardos
both have literally made me puke
I thought it was good going down, just couldn't stay down
they probably just don't keep a kosher kitchen and it made me sick

WHOA KYLER. ABELARDOS IS AWESOME. Vegan Ryan made me try his horchata for the first time there.... amazing. And I got a burrito at 1 am the other day.

Also on the walking dead (the show), the first six episodes... fucking amazing. This last 'season' was total garbage... wasting so much time finding that girl when they could have dealt with it in two episodes. And Daryl is badass.

Zombie talk is usually used in the preparedness/survival world in a tongue-in-cheek manner, as kind of a catch-all for situations that would merit using survivalist/preparedness measures. There's also "mutant zombie bikers" (MZBs), which combines both of the prominent fictional post-SHTF/ TEOTWAWKI protagonists. You're really fucked when you're dealing with MZB's.
I don't think anyone REALLY believes in zombies and I assume your ex was just trying to be cute, but it is a good idea to be prepared for other things. I thought it was kind of cool that the CDC put out that webpage about being prepared for zombie attacks as a way to get folks thinking about general preparedness

Zombies are still gay though.
RE: Hy-Vee Chinese food again. I'll also say that it's probably the cleanest place to get cheap Chinese food that I know of. That means something.

i think red robin is overpriced perkins food. i thought abelardos was good value for the money but thought the food was on par with taco bell/ johns and bbops...

Ok Abelardos is awesome and Taco Bell fucking sucks! They don't even put real meat in there food?! And Jethros wings can't be beat in my opinion!
I'm going to add Cici's Pizza, panda express, Bamboo Buffett, Old Chicago (good beer selection though), Wendalls BBQ (fuckin bad BBQ!) and Taco Casa

At Red Robin I got the Banzai but with the veggie burger and no cheese or mayo. I was into, and the fries were good too, plus they use grenadine in their cherry soda so that was cool... but about half an hour later I felt sick and my girlfriend was throwing up and were pretty sure she got food poisoning.
Ty-guy, I was obsessed with Abelardos for a while. I went 2-3 times a week, often past midnight (best thing about that place, open 24/7). Buuuuut, the last time I went I got sick and found beef shreds in bottom of my chips. WAH WAH. Maybe Ill give them a pass for that, but its going to be a while before I go back.

Abelardo's is pretty wishy washy. The food is sometimes awful, sometimes really good. The problem is their bathrooms. Three or four times i've eaten there, and went to wash the grease off of my hands in the bathroom. It has always been filthy, toilets unflushed, no paper anywhere, and all three of the soap dispensers have been completely empty. Every time. AND, there is a filthy sheet of paper taped above the filthy sink that says, "all employees must wash their hands before returning to work." Where do they wash their hands? My guess is they don't.
That's gross.
It's hard to pray with broken hands
