Yep, not as good live. I do like how the reverb sounds on that other dude's guitar at like 3:35 though.

Re: Only a matter of time
how is it "not as good live"? The only thing that was different was we weren't able to use triggers at that show because of the weak sound setup. And I mean powerful weak.

I'm not saying you're not good at your instruments or whatever, I'm just saying pretty much no band is going to sound good in a room as small as that, especially one that's heavy on the bass frequencies like a metal band. If/when you start playing better venues, these issues will disappear.
It kind of blows me away that you couldn't use triggers there.

Re: Only a matter of time
It wasn't really a VENUE venue, it was a coffee house, aptly named- The Coffee House. Nothing was mic'd. I know we were able to run samples, but I can't remember if we were able to use the bass drops. One of the other bands was suppose to bring another PA or something so we could use the triggers/brain but I don't know if that ever happened. It was something weird. We're playing a legit venue on 5/6 in West Dundee IL, 5/7 in MN being booked now, and 5/8 in IA City at Gabes is confirmed.
But yeah, going forward every show should sound as close to the recordings as possible because we're using click tracks, so as long as the venue doesn't freak out about bass drops "blowing out" their systems then we should be fine.

I was going to make fun of him but then I realized I'm just jealous that I can't blast at 240.

lol, dude get's so much poon it's ridiculous. Like no one I've ever known. I don't get it either, but somehow the combination of half-dreads, tatts, and drumming works.
