I'll be playing some records along with Jeff on July 17 at the Beechwood. I'll be playing reggae, ska, mod, northern (and other) soul, punk/power-pop and a bit of Latin. 9:30 until last call.

There was a good turnout for the first Pressure Drop and all kinds of people turned out. Everyone seemed to have a good time and there weren't many people standing still. Come dance, drink, stand around, schmooze, whatever.

There was a huge turnout on Saturday and motherfuckers were going crazy right up until bar close. I put on "Hit The Road, Jack" at 1:55 as everyone's cue to get the fuck out and there were still a good amount of people dancing to it begging to hear another song. Lots of people who didn't seem like they were normally into that kind of music got really into it that night and I heard "that was the best night I've had in a while" from a good handful of people - so far there's been a ton of interest and enthusiasm from people on this one.

Someone in a scooter club that was there made this video about the night if any of you have not seen it through multiple Facebook postings yet:
