Great show! Baroness is seriously one of the best live bands I've seen in a while! Druids was tiiighht, did you guys play a lot of newer stuff? I did record this show so if anybody wants a copy just let me know, for some reason mediafire won't let me upload it but I can burn some cd's for anybody who wants a copy

after hearing from so many people how good baroness was i went. about the most disappointment ive had. they never played a song. it was like intro into intro into intro. it was like i was watching a cool hot topic sponsored band. i think its hilarious when people stare and look around at each other to see whos into what and then start head bobbing.

i did miss druids tho. but glad shows are actually starting on time lately.

Sorry, Joe, I can't understand this criticism at all. There were spots when the set was a little slow, but song construction has always been one of their strong points. They really are a fantastic band, and I wish I knew why you were so against them.

im not against them. they were good as in they played their music together and on time. i did not like it at all. i thought their construction was krap. just because you can force parts together doesnt mean you should. there was one part in the second song they played that reminded me of his hero is gone(who i only liked about half the time) but other than that ... they were not my thing and i dont understand why they are liked. they were boring, contrived and rock starish(in MY opinion). i did not hate them.

i know i havent said much about other bands. i dont usually get specific and dont like talking shit about people i dont know. this is pretty much my opinion on most bands. teedot likes everyband, i hate everyband. just generalities. everybodys got different tastes. some people like chocolate i dont.

i go to shows like this even if i dont like the bands because if nobody goes then bands wont come here. turnouts need to happen for shows to keep coming thru. i try to go to as many shows as i can.
