James would probably be the only one into this: boxcar art
I started a photo blog.
If you dig hobo monikers and boxcar art, check it out:

I am not a professional photographer. I am not an amateur photographer. I am not a photographer at all. I just take the pictures to document shit.

Probably more like a caveman than a whitebox.
Glad you guys dig this and thanks for the feedback. I'm going to keep on taking pictures, it's become a hobby now.
Tyler, I have an old photobucket with hundreds of pics of graff from around the 515. I haven't updated it in forever as I don't really have any interest in that kind of stuff much anymore, but if you wanna check it out I can give you the username and pass.
James, yeah, you should definitely consider walking the tracks in spring. Bring a cam though, and let me see what you're seeing. That yard down by the old Fallout Shelter is huge, so there's bound to be old and cool shit in there at all times.
Oh yeah, just updated.

Vandalism. Cool. Way to fight the establishment.

Ehhh... different worlds, man. This is for names, doodles, monikers done by rail road workers and hobos that are in a sort of symbiotic relationship with the rail road system where mutual respect exists... nothing by white kids that are trying to be a part of some stupid NYC culture by spray painting wildstyle, million color pieces.

To be a rail rider - you need to have all your bum friends piss on hankerchief that they wear around their necks to show your membership. True story.
Re: James would probably be the only one into this: boxcar a
No.
And don't call a hobo a bum.

Bums and hobos are 2 different things...I've rode plenty of trains and never did I piss on my rag...dumbest thing I've heard...I used it when riding dirty to keep dirt and shit outta my face...
Is riden a word? Keeps changin it to risen...perhaps there's 2 d's?

Have any of you heard of/been to the hobo convention or hobo museum in Britt, IA? I have some friends who went to the convention a few years ago and said it was amazing. I was able to stop by the museum on the way back from clear lake once and it's definitely worth the stop if you are in the area. The convention is supposedly HUGE and they elect a hobo king and queen every year and have a giant pot of hobo stew. Sounds pretty sweet.
Also, this is a sweet blog idea dude.

I wonder what kind of Hobo Stew? I've heard of hobo dinners where you just put food in foil and throw it in the fire but hobo stew, I wonder?
