Hmmm....Punknews.org says different. Even though it will probably only be a few shows and a US tour is probably not likely. New material would be the best thing that could happen though.

UPDATE: An anonymous source close to the situation has confirmed that Refused will indeed be reuniting. Plans right now include live performances at some to-be-confirmed European summer festivals. We'll keep you updated as details come in.

Rumors erupted over the weekend that the band would be reuniting following the launch of a new teaser website at www.officialrefused.com.

The site looks to merely be a teaser for an upcoming reissue of the bands 1998 outing, “The Shape Of Punk To Come“, which Epitaph is tentatively preparing for a May release date."

Apprentely there is going to be a triple disc CD release with the reissue of "The Shape of Punk To Come." The reissue is due the same day as the vinyl, June 8, 2010, and will include the original album, a brand new, previously unreleased live album and the documentary, Refused Are Fucking Dead DVD. The live album was recorded at the Umeå Open festival in their hometown Umeå, Sweden on April 3, 1998.

if anyone's really interested, i was privy to a 3-person video chat with dennis lyxzen, where he said they had a band meeting to discuss an offer from the Cochella Music Festival and they decided against it. he said they may consider it next year if they get more offers.

david sandstrom's(refused drummer) wrists are bad and he can no longer play like he used to--so there will never be a full-on refused reunion.

if you like really shitty hardcore-im sure lots of you do-you can check out their latest(horrible) project called Ac-4

David Sandstrom had a few solo albums come out--two of which were amazing.

first solo release: "Om det inte händer nåt innan imorgon så kommer jag.."(he out godspeeds Godspeed on this one...)

second: "The Dominant Need of the Needy Soul Is to Be Needed" (really lo-fi solid pop album)

the rest havent been any good.
