Mandrell and Jon White brought new baby Dameon James White home from Mercy Hospital on Friday, February 12th after a short stay in the neonatal intensive care unit. Everything is great with both mom and baby and they are home and continuing to do well. Dameon James White was born on February 4th at 1:39am and was 5lbs. 13oz. and 19in long.

that arguement doesnt really hold water when it comes to the US, birth rates in the US are at their lowest ever...however due to medical advances and modern medicine life expectancy and survival rate of diseases is at its highest...less people born, less people dying...yes, there is baseline truth to your statement, bur your birth is equally as responsible for any 'global catastrophy' as on that happens tomorrow...if you are that gung ho about your personal impact on the world, then you know what to do...even if every square foot of land has a person standing on it, and there are no 'natural resources' left the earth will continue to go on, we though will die...so in the end if you are concerned of the earths well being, thats great, but almost irrational..., if you are concerned with the well being of humans, then your statement holds a bit more ground, but not enough to go beyond cynicism and the role of devils advocate...

People have every right to have as many kids as they want, as long as they are good parents and don't do it just to take advantage of the system.

Kids are awesome. Being a dick about everything all of the time is again, unproductive. Being happy and proud to be a new parent is more than worth bragging about and you want to tell everyone even if you don't know them.

You aren't "supposed to care", but you don't always have to have something negative to say about everything to show that you don't care. Let's just all assume you don't care about things, great, why are we supposed to care that you don't give a shit.

Until you start contributing to your own life, and society, quit giving your opinions on shit that actually matter in the world. It is one thing to experience life and have negative things to say about it, it is another to sit back, do nothing to improve your own situation and just bitch about what other people do in their lives.

Don't get me wrong, you are cool, you listen to mostly cool music, but there are other things that make a person cool other than what style of music they listen to.

With that said, kids of the future are either going to reap the benefits from all our generations have invented and the ideas we have come up with, or they are going to suffer the consequences from all we have taken from the planet that we can't give back. It might be a risk to have kids if you think the planet is doomed, or it might be a great thing to bring kids into a world that has so many advances that life might be slightly easier for them than it was for us as kids. Do what you want, or do what other people tell you. Either way, do something.
