Re: Buy my drums.
I might be interested in that ride and the snare. Can I get back to you after the new years?

Re: Buy my drums.
yeah, actually, after a discussion with a few people i'm considering the whole package. the only reason i was thinking about just the two pieces is because i'm currently drumming on someone elses set and i wanted to build a set slowly. the thing is, i won't be able to afford the thing all at once. can you put it on lay away for me and i'll make payments on it?
Re: Buy my drums.
okay bro, here we go.
my dad bought this very same set (the set i happen to currently be practicing on, which is why i'm stoked on this timing) a few weeks ago with a few slight variations. This is what his includes:
6 Piece Tama Rockstar Set (3 rack toms, 1 floor, double bass with kicks)
Argent Snare
20' Sabian Ride
16' Zildjan Titanium ZxT Medium thin Crash
10' & 8' Splashes of some kind
16'? Sabian Crash (size not labeled, too lazy to measure)
16' Wuhan S Series Medium Thin Crash
18' Wuhan S Series Crash
18' Wuhan hand made china
18' Zidjan Titanium ZxT China
And a sweet 18' crash/ride made by Kansas City (where the drum set came from) company called Explorer
All stands have this weight and sheen that says "HEY BRO, USE ME AND YOU'LL NEVER HAVE TO FIX YOUR HI HAT OR ADJUST YOUR CRASH DURING THE MIDdLE OF A SONG/SET AGAIN"
And here's the kicker (get it? drum humor, hyuk hyuk) He paid 700 bones straight up cash for the whole shebang. No shit. You can come talk to him about it if you'd like. I thought it was pretty far out too.
Now compare that above with:
>22" kick drum
>14" rack tom
>16" floor tom
>14" snare drum
>2 cheap crash cymbals
>2 Paiste Rude hi hat cymbals
>1 Zildjian ride cymbal
>kick drum pedal, throne, sticks w/bag, and tuning ratchet.
>all stands and hardware
So, with that, on a good conscious I could not offer you more than $275 for what you're offering. Although, since its road ready and I'm writing material with a dude and we'll be wanting to play shows soon (not soon SOON but more like soon-ish) I'd consider $290.
Are we doing business?

Re: Buy my drums.
Maybe call Mr. Mutt. I haven't seen him in a minute, so I don't know what kind of financial shape he's in, but if he can afford it he's always looking for more drums.
Re: Buy my drums.
I'm good on drums, I got 3 kits I don't know what to do with.
Later , Mutt
