Re: Hey, remember iowahardcore.com
random fact: morty bears a tattoo wrapping around his wrist of the "Dance of Death" from Bergman's The Seventh Seal--the exact tattoo that all the members and one roadie of the hardcore/punk band Catharsis got on their Brazil tour years back. conclusion: morty really liked Catharsis.

Re: Hey, remember iowahardcore.com
conclusion correct, sort of.
I loved catharsis and the image from the back of the passion album and the film the seventh seal. so not really a "band" tattoo. I also have a vidablue/tengrand shovel tattoo which IS a band tattoo.
for breakfast morty had oatmeal. conclusion: morty likes oatmeal.
i'm so glad we had this discussion

HALP!
Hey fellas, I'm looking for an old show flier, I can't even remember who the bands were. It was a Botanical Center show and the flier had the sideview of an head showing all the muscles in the head and face and the text was going in different directions, interlocking.... that is an awful description. Anyway it was a flier I really liked and would love to get a copy or a scan of it...so look through your old stacks of fliers and help me out.

I remember him. I always thought that Nate (Moltar) looked a lot like him. Less tall though. He used to try to get me to go yell at cops with him while I was skateboarding downtown.
abortions for some, miniature american flags for others
Re: Hey, remember iowahardcore.com
Is Mark Westerberg the one that started Food Not Bombs in Des Moines? tall (not as tall as me), blonde guy? If so, tell him I said hi...is he still in des moines?
Re: Hey, remember iowahardcore.com
I think the flier I am looking for is from the To Dream of Autumn show...maybe.
