soundproofing pics for max.

Post by inx515xhell » Tue Sep 01, 2009 7:35 pm

hey forgot what thread we were talkin bout this in.

so jim and i spent the last couple weekends building these. the 2 large ones are approx 8x8. we just made the frames with 1x2s and then put sound dampening foam on the outsides, the added the ridged foam. the smaller is still 1x2s with one side of sound dampening boards and the other sides is acoustic panels (we just kinda tacked the leftovers on the front side). still need to add ridged foam to the front of the small one. probably gonna put some carpet on the backs of the other ones. sorry for the crappy camera phone pics and nothing is set up cuz we played a show this weekend.

explanation was kinda rushed cuz i'm about to hop in the shower and go eat. super easy to make though. next project is building a loft for my bed.

just two. we're bringing the third one up tonight, as well as some moving blankets to hang were we couldn't put the walls up. it definitely has projected the sound out towards the road (which is perfect) as opposed to towards the neighbors' house.
