they did a record signing when I worked at Down in the Valley. they were nice enough, but I have been ambivalent about their music from "Spend the Night" on.

I can still get into The Donnas. "American Teenage Rock 'n Roll Machine" is a great album. I like most of their Lookout Records stuff.

I saw them open for the hives and I thought they were fuckinng terrriibble. I don't think I had ever heard them before that besides maybe accidentally on the radio. They seemed to be trying really hard to act like rockstars and they failed hard. Boring as shit.
