Suburban blotter: Cut off from porn, Clive teen allegedly smashes phone, window

From the case files of the Clive police:

A Clive mother called police on her 15-year-old son when the boy allegedly became enraged when she cut off his access to Internet pornography, according to a Clive police report from June 20.

The mother told Clive police that she shut off the guest user account on her Internet service provider because she believed the teenager was using it to access pornography. When she informed her son, he allegedly smashed and broke a cordless telephone and threw a plastic cup full of soda pop, shattering the front living room window, the report said.

The teenager fled on his bicycle. His mother told police her son was possibly high or drunk and may have been in possession of a pocketknife.

There ain't nuthin' meaner than taking away a 15 year old young man's access to porn. This is even meaner than the Ft Dodge mom who got famous for selling her kid's car cause there was a bottle of booze under the seat.
