if you know me, you know where i stand. i know i will find our admin, prof. greg rice, on my side and beej on the opposing. where do you stand?

ozzy gets my vote. i can't think of a single sabbath song with him i don't like (especially love solitude and changes). the "his voice sucks" argument is fucking whack. it's definitely not traditional, but it fucking works. in addition to that his solo career is pretty fucking legit. blizzard, diary, and bark at the moon are all so fucking solid.

dio is really "meh" to me. yeah i know he's funny and ironic and it's totally metal to like shit like that, but c'mon. i'll be the first to admit that i haven't listened to a ton of dio sabbath. i've been listening though, just got them all from a friend. i know mob rules and heaven and hell well enough. good music, just can't dig his voice that much.

i went with dio based on the i just don't like Ozzy's voice so much factor. Note this is slightly different from saying his voice just sucks. i'd say its a matter of taste.
