upon further viewing, i'll say that there's still some really fascinating shit in this video, but it becomes pretty obvious that there's an agenda behind it too so take it with a grain of salt.

in any case, the info about the pagan origins of modern x-mas traditions seems pretty accurate and verifiable with just a few quick internet searches. The propaganda part is just that they're trying to use the info to scare Christians into becoming more puritanical or whatever.
I just find it to be a fascinating example of how we've been conditioned to do things over time without ever knowing why we're doing them. Christmas traditions are a pretty striking and kind of funny example because of how far removed and contrasting the origins of their meanings are from the meaning we give to them today....

i love that Coca-Cola is responsible for the current image we have of Santa Claus. if that doesn't prove to everyone on the planet that our culture should perish utterly, then i don't know what will.
