Shooter's Hideaway, the Windsor Heights bar/pool hall/live music venue, will close at the end of the year, according to owner Paul McCollom, who opened the place in October 2004. "We at Shooter's are saddened by the fact that the economy isn't supporting the local music scene and the venue and we extend our best wishes to all the bands, the venues that continue to support them and we will continue to support them individually," McCollom wrote in a press release about the closing.

That place SUCKED for shows, my friends band played there twice, the sound is TERRIBLE (plus nobody that works there/runs shows knows shit about running sound), the regulars there are tough guy douchebags that try and pick fights w/ everyone (both times I was there I was approached by the same 3 dudes that wanted to fight me for no reason), and yes Paul is a know it all son of a bitch.
