Um, there's a few parts that jam on the new cd that are pretty good.
Overall I'm pretty disappointed but hey it's not my band..as long as they're having fun that's all that really matters anyway..at least they don't sound like this..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4R6PXvtLoQ0

It's a fucking embarrassment, with Jordan saying it's 10 times harder than anything they've ever done, ew..

I "demanded" that they go to Uzbekistan, and hopefully stay there.

It isn't harder than anything they have done...but for you to sit here and shit talk a band that I know you liked and supported is pretty fucking lame.

Obviously shit happens in between member changes.

blah blah blah.

i agree with joe. it sounds very nu-metal to me.

i've never been into TUFF music, so my opinion probably doesn't matter as much as other people on this board, but i don't care for it at all. (that being said, i'd rather hear this on the radio than all of the other tuff/metal stuff that gets played)

i have to agree with kyler about that promo pic. makes them look like complete douche bags. i think you can be a serious band and not take those cliche photos. however, i have to disagree with him as well... the electronic part that sounds like orgy circa 97 is my favorite thing about that song.

Dudes in this band can write extremely better music than this (well, I dunno about that new singer they have), so lol at anyone getting excited and defending this nu-metal shit, which, yeah, I'm sure will get them big.

I will admit, though, this song GETS ME REALLY PUMPED TO PLAY MORTAL KOMBAT 3. Sweet fucking gong intro dudes.

yeah i love the old too pure to die but the new stuff is really good its just different.
It's different, but not good. You are fucking defending a nu-metal album dude.
But I guess that makes sense since you've got fucking Limp Bizkit running on your myspace.

(Jesus christ, "Saving Grave". OH MY GOD.)
seriously, if this was a different band and this was their first cd you wouldnt be talking shit you would just keep your opinions to yourself.

BUT SERIOUSLY FUCK THE HATE AND CHECK THIS OUT http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?qnzb0jsyjmn
If the "different" band meant anything to anyone on 515crew, it would be discussed, and if it sucked, it would be ripped apart. Opinions aren't kept to oneself here.
plus this is a local message board where everyone knows each other, really bad idea to talk shit about them on here.
No, it's a really good idea, because it gets a bunch of idiots with Xs around their names to register and cry about stupid, stupid shit. WELCOME TO 515CREW.COM/MSGBRD

this record has more cut and paste than a crass record layout.

korn called they want their bass guitar sounds back.
oh wait that is the kick drum.

turntable scratching the guitar.

ROCK 108 says, "move over slipknot and linkin park toopuretodie is in town."

underwater sound effects are so awesome.

now who chokes on the rice?

oh my god. in saving grace where it gets all effects-ey. someone got a new pro-tools plug-in. GENIUS!

so i put on the new tptd record today(on random), courtesy of tj's mp3 cache, and the song "One True Thing" came on. the song was a perfect example of how much a difference production value can make with marginally talented songwriters.

granted, i haven't listened to the entire album--being that i nearly slit my wrists before the first refrain of the first song--but surely even those who like this album can understand the criticism within the hardcore punk community, considering that it's about the furthest thing from both those styles of music.

not to be snobbish, music is about individual taste and i'm sure all the members of this band are good dudes, i'm just disappointed when i hear bands that sound like they've deliberately crafted their sound to fit commercial trends.
