Red Rooster Records
what's up with that place?
Re: Red Rooster Records
it is a pretty good record store. They have a pretty good turnaround on their merchandise, so they generaly have new things to look through. They can be somewhat pricey though at times, more like a regular cities record store, and not like an iowa record store.

Great little record store. Everyone should check it out. Then go over to the Highland Park Country Club for a kick ass breakfast.
I poop on Petland!
Re: Red Rooster Records

Don't know the exact address, but it's on the same block as Chicago Dog & Deli on 6th & Euclid. Right across the street from the Highland Park Country Club. The African store right next to it is pretty cool too.joseph wrote:address?

Every record store in Des Moines sucks.
Quit waiting around for them to get good.
I went to ZZZ yesterday and they wouldn't (couldn't? lol) order me the new Wolves in the Throne Room LP. COOL SHOP, NICE METAL SECTION.
Rat's Records rules though.
-Joe.

Joe, start a distro then.

It's been sometime since I made it in there. He prices his stuff at collector prices and in fact had some really nice rockabillie stuff. Seem like a nice guy and a real music fan and record collector.
I paid my dues but I lost my Receipt.
