Re: New* Candy Thread
I've got a taste for chocolate powerbars. It's weird to enjoy eating a bitter rock hard piece of wax.
Re: New* Candy Thread
I always liked the peanut butter Power Bar. In Iraq we had free access to the oatmeal raisin and cinnamon roll kinds, I don't think I could ever eat another one of those again.
The Clif builder bars are pretty good, but soy is a shitty source of protein for muscle recovery.

I always like the mystery flavor because it's hard to pick one.
Re: New* Candy Thread
I haven't been able to find Good & Fruity candy for a couple of years, then it suddenly appeared at Kum and Go on Hickman the other day. It appears that they've changed the formula. If you're familiar with Good and Plenties, you know there is licorice in the middle, and they are shaped like a pill. Well, Good and Fruities are supposed to be similar in texture, with the chewy licorice center and the crunchy then soft outside layer. Anyway, they're basically just jelly beans now, and disappointing.
Re: New* Candy Thread
i remember the good and fruity as more of a mike and ike type candy. no licorice at all..

im wrong again..
Good & Fruity
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Good & Fruity is a multicolored, multiflavor candy with a similar shape to Good & Plenty. Unlike Good & Plenty, Good & Fruity contained red licorice. It was produced by Hershey Foods. Good & Fruity appeared to be out of production for some time, but following the circulation of an online petition which was eventually signed by more than 2,000 Good & Fruity enthusiasts,[1] was returned to the Hershey Foods lineup in March 2008. The recipe is different from the original and 1992 versions, the newer version (3rd recipe) is closer to a jelly bean and less like a red licorice. The name has also been changed, it used to be "Good n' Fruity". The candy now contains the following flavors: lemon, lime, cherry, orange, and blue raspberry.
Prior to 1992, all Good & Fruity candies contained the same-flavored red gummy center, relying upon the hard candy shell to provide the different flavor according to color. Sometime around 1992, however, the formula was changed and the candies' interiors became color & flavor-coordinated with the outer shell to give the candy a "fruitier" taste. The resulting candy texture is far closer to a small jelly bean than to the traditional Good & Plenty crisp outside, chewy inside texture.

Has anyone had these new "premium" m & m's? I just paid 5 bux for this tiny little package of em, I got the chocolate almond kind, really don't see any other diff. between these and the regular ones. They just seem to have a bunch of different flavors and some fancy colors, Ripp off!

Re: New* Candy Thread
Back when I was a kid there were these black licorice candies shaped like little babys. They were called Tar Babys. Wonder if they still make them.
