If you could have any 5 bands

Post by tylerjames515 » Mon Sep 01, 2008 6:44 am

play a show in any venue.

broken up, shut down whatever.

who and where?

mine would be:
Gorilla Biscuits, Judge, Life Long Tragedy, Ringworm, Trash Talk @ some sort of skate park. That'd just be cool.

If I'd have to limit it to 5 X, TSOL, The Weirdos, Big Black, Murphy's Law and the Street Dogs. Either the Christian Science Reading Room or a Meat Packing Plant.

The Jesus Lizard
At the Drive-In
Sleater-Kinney
Tom Waits
The Ramones, after advanced technology has raised Joey, Johnny and Dee Dee from the dead, but as perfectly intact corpses

And this would all go down, of course, in my bedroom. So only I can see it.

Yup the only one left is the KKK and of course Marky.

If we are going add bands with dead guys then I'll have to change it to

The Weirdos
The Heartbreakers
The Clash
The Germs
The Dead Boys

To keep in the sprit of the dead it would have to be at Max's KC, The Masque, The Outhouse or Hairy Mary's(either localations).

Your right but for some reason I thought it was Tommy that died. I have to say though that I think Marky was a better drummer.

Skrewdriver (with all the toughest members)
The Oppressed
One Life Crew/Pitboss 2000/PC Deathsquad
Good Clean Fun
Geto Boys

At the Outlaws MC Clubhouse in New Port Richie, FL where the police are afraid to go.

I don't think a single band would play one song and it would just be awesome.

Spirit of Versailles
Electric Wizard
1000 Travels of Jawaharlal
Envy
Spazz

in my basement, with only my really good friends invited.

Also TJ, great call on The Body, that band fucking rules. I'd love to see them.

Have to say that after seeing DRI like 5 or 6 times they are one of the most boring bands in the world to see live. In fact the last couple of times I saw them, we left to get something to eat and were disappointed when we returned and they were still playing an hour later.
