Wednesday, August 13th. Alley Cat Bike Race + Punk Show
bands: THUNDERBIRD KINGSLEY (lowdown gutbucket barrelhouse blues), TATERBUG (ambient one peace face melt from des moines), JD MEDELY (this banjo will destroy you), and THE TUBCITY THUMBERS (folky two piece from des moines--really sorry if i got your name wrong)!!!!!!!!!

to Benefit the Reopening of Sweet Bee Infoshop!! Meet at 7pm Outside of Best Place Ever (24th and University by Drake across from the Drake Law Office). The race will start at Best Place Ever and end at Sweet Bee. No route. Go!! Prizes for the winners (and losers?). Show starts at 9pm at Sweet Bee (513 E. Locust, Suite G, Downtown). All are welcome! this was actually pretty sweet...2 sick bands, and quite a few people..i was surprised by the turn out...ya'll should check it out if you get the chance...there will be more shows in the future
