for those of you in the know, Imaad Wasif was the frontman for the band lowercase.

he also toured as second guitarist for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

his new stuff sounds like even more stoned out T-Rex. super sweet.

the only lowercase album i know is All Destructive Urges, it's not so much like that.

imaad wasif isn't so jangly and rattled, and there's no yelling. it's pretty mellow for the most part. really good stuff.
