Cedar Rapids has reported that 50 ducks were stoned to death overnight at the Bever Park Children's Zoo.

Employees had left the ducks locked in cages at the exhibit Tuesday evening. They were found dead at 7 a.m. today by zoo workers.

The building lock and several locks on cages had been broken.

Police are investigating.


People are awesome.

This is happening in pleasant hill too, that pond/lake whatever you want to call it right by copper creek. This woman stopped me while I was riding my bike and told me that some kids have been killing the baby ducks around there, so they've been setting up cameras to try to catch em.
