I was talking to a friend about Sherlock Holmes and was told that Robert Downey's portrayal was the closest interpretation to the character from the books yet. Similar to whats being done with Daniel Craig as James Bond.

I saw Sherlock Holmes yesterday. The action was really well done, particularly in the scenes with the giant.
