yeah i also wasn't expecting it to be $15... but i guess that gets you into whatever the haunted house thing is that they have too so hopefully that and the fire tribe will make it worth the extra dough. I think it'll be fun.

Re: The End of the World Halloween Extravaganza
well i'm not sure what you mean by that... have you seen them play? from what I've listened to they sound kind of like a social distortion style of punk rock. never seen the band but they don't sound too bad.

Considering that there has been a fair mix of "conspiracy hypotheses", "conspiracy theories", and actual proven conspiracies throughout history and into the present, I think coining the general collection as "conspiracy theories" is fair enough... especially when the te...

Re: Zeitgeist: Addendum [film]
well, the title seems cool enough. i'll buy a copy based on the fact that you've watched the movie and you're a 515crew-er. If it's awesome, i'll be delighted. if it sucks, i might be disappointed, but i'll still commend you for being gnarly enough to go for making a rad comic.

the first one was aight. i have to say, if i'm in a slump it usually just takes a good conspiracy theory to set my brain on fire. but what happens in a fire? a whole lot of energy is removed from organic mass and leaves a charred lump of nothing to let me be in a slump all over again. Also, I know ...

Re: Zeitgeist: Addendum [film]
the sequel really isn't conspiracy theory-ish at all. It spends some time talking about the flaws of a fractional reserve economic system.... attempts to explain how this is a root cause of the problems in the world, and basically tries to make a case for moving to a resource-based economy.... Of co...

Pratt, would you read my fucking posts, already? The movie does not say that believing in god is stupid. It does not say that you should stop believing in "higher powers." It says that believing in the religions it highlights is stupid, because they rely on historically inaccurate and rid...

Re: Religulous
I'm not saying they are constantly thinking that, maybe not at all, but what's the point of believing in a god if not to know there is a greater power watching over you, explaining the point of your existence, and giving you a place to go when you die? Well, ok. As you may have guessed, I believe i...

Re: Religulous
I don't know about that. I think it generally takes more balls to stand up and say "Yes, I believe in God and this is what I stand for" than "I don't know, I don't really believe in God". Submission, sure. I have difficulty just writing off religious beliefs as ignorance. Think ...
