Man Man is awesome. Streetlight's cool, but calling them gypsy inspired is kind of stretching it. It's ska-punk pretty much through and through.... As for Gogol, I suppose I could [maybe!] understand not liking them as a matter of taste. But to say they suck... I'm just baffled. That's beyond laugha...

awesome! It's a bit pricey but they know how to bring it--not surprised by the price actually. I spent 20 bucks to see them at first ave in minnesota a while back... worth every penny. Phenomenal band and absolutely EPIC live show. So glad to see a band of this caliber coming to Des Moines... can't ...

Not around anymore, but oatmeal pie from Mondo's (with cinnamon ice cream, of course) was amazing. Probably my favorite dessert of all time. I used to work in the bakery and would purposely mess up an oatmeal pie order pretty much every night so I could scarf that deliciousness up.

Based on my somewhat sporadic visits, I'd say BT has been steadily declining in quality and increasing in price for a few years now.
