Re: NOT VEGAN

The punk scene sucks so you want nothing to do with it, instead of being involved and trying to change whatever it is you don't like about it. Pretty much. I don't have the time, patience or desire to monkey around with that sort of thing with the exception of going to the occasional show and posti...

Yeah, pretty much. I wouldn't say I want nothing to do with it, but I certainly want some distance from it.

If I remember right she picked up a bootleg Iron Maiden tape as a teenager in Tehran and it ends up changing her life. So as of recent... The Mark of Zorro (1940). It's been years since I've seen one of the old Zorro films and I enjoyed this one. I like the Zorro character - he's like an bourgeois C...

I watched them all and rated them four stars. Shreddin' on the axe like that isn't really my cup of tea, but now you can't say I've never done anything for you.

I didn't know that, I'll have to look into that. Yeah, KGGO's show played stuff that was on major labels but things you weren't likely to hear through conventional sources. I remember stuff like The Church, Stone Roses, Elastica, Pixies, The Cure, etc. You know, shit that was popular in 1995. It wou...

Re: What have you been listening to lately?

I liked that album. Actually, I think that album kind of introduced me to brit-pop. I remember KGGO used to have a show on Sunday nights at 9pm where they would play edgier music (known as "alternative" then). I remember hearing "Love Spreads" and liking it and then getting the C...

Over the past couple of days: Slumdog Millionaire. I heard this was good but the description made it sound shitty so I was skeptical. Turns out it was a really good movie. Definitely better than the last Bollywood movie I tried to stomach. I wanted to send a check to Pakistan's nuclear program after...

Thank you. Those mountains aren't that high compared to the Rockies (3,500 feet or so) but I guess it's pretty common to be above the clouds on top of Snowdon. That would've been sweet if I could've recreated my avatar painting. I guess when it's not cloudy you can see as far as Ireland and Liverpoo...
