anybody here listen to The Riot Before? it's punk for northeastern dudes with beards that wear plaid shirts and tight black pants, but it's done better than most, IMO and it's political, but I feel like their songs get deeper into the issues. Their 2008 album was one of my favorites from last year. ...

I'm not gonna go see them, but I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of music they put out and how long they can make it work this time.

yeah, that's practice. their only show so far was at the Elephungeon and that's Blinks in Ames. Anyway, I thought the Finest sounded a lot better live than recorded, but they didn't seem very into it. I realize it was their first show, but they're all experienced musicians and should be able to move...

what are you questioning...the fact that they're rocking out at practice or the fact that they're hopping up and down in a circle?

well after tonight I can tell you that if The Finest ever kicks out Arthur (lol), Mitch, Zizac, and Cunningham can all take over vocals.
