sound in basements is generally fucking awesome you are right up against the amps and you can hear and feel the sound. minus the vocals...usually the vocals are tolerable at best but most times you can barely hear them. yeah most of those bands at riot fest you might as well be watching them on yout...

i agree with servo.....riot fest is horrible!
the sound in that theater is so awful and echoey it makes the bands not worth seeing.

and the sound on the little second stage out in the entry way is even worse.

after that year i went...i vowed to myself i would never go again.
