I've lived here for over a year and a half. Time flies when you're having fun.

It definitely seems like a better place now than when you were living here, though. I think you were just a victim of the times.

Well, I was there that one weekend and even attempting at eating at that pizza place on Washington was fucking terrible. It is true there weren't as many cool people or shows when I lived there, but the other aspect of that city, trying to live while working 3 jobs at a time while going to school while trying to not get beat up walking to and from jobs was pretty ridiculous. It is expensive and annoying, something I would rather not have to put up with. Ames is much more tolerable as far as simply co-existing, thought it is lacking activities.
